Blow Me Away!
Have you ever felt like the wind is blowing in the wrong direction? It’s as if no matter which way you turn, there it is right in your face, wisping your hair everywhere, making your eyes water, and just numbing your entire being. I’ve tried that whole, “lick your finger, where’s it coming from,” test but it never helps. No matter how you try to avoid the gale it finds its way into that small nook you’re hiding in, it creeps its way under your coat, and blazes through that one crack in the window pane that you’ve just now discovered. You can’t hide from it. You can’t protect yourself from it. You can try running but I’d assume that will only make it worse. You can’t even fight back. At least in rain you can defiantly splash through the mirrors on the street, or mock and deafen thunder with music. Wind is just a bastard. I know some people might think slurring the weather is the surest way to be rampaged by that which you affront, but aside from bringing down my house, sending a tree into my car, blowing my cat away, and possibly injuring myself or my family…what harm can wind really do?
